Cre8

The Cre8 Model (pronounced Create) consists of two interconnected processes that together form the shape of the number 8. The model outlines the steps organisations must go through when designing learning initiatives.

The upper part of the model focuses on identifying and addressing the organisation’s most important business needs – ensuring that learning creates a real impact. This part consists of six phases:

  • Business needs
  • Role of Learning Team
  • Understand the business
  • Trusted Advisor
  • Stakeholder Analysis
  • Stakeholder Dialogue

The lower part of the model, called 3Needs, focuses on creating learning solutions that solve business needs by supporting employees and managers in their work. This part also consists of six phases:

  • Business Needs
  • Audience Needs
  • Learning Needs
  • Learning Solution
  • Launch & Engage
  • Measure & Iterate

By applying the Cre8 Model to the design of learning solutions, organisations ensure practical, relevant solutions that support both business objectives and everyday workflows of employees.
