TWI (Training Within Industry) is a structured training programme developed to improve productivity and quality in industry by standardising training in job processes, leadership, and problem-solving.
TWI consists of three primary programmes:
- Job Instruction (JI): Training on how employees can perform a job correctly, safely, and consistently.
- Job Methods (JM): Training on how employees and managers analyse job processes and improve work methods.
- Job Relations (JR): Training on how employees and leaders effectively manage and maintain good working relationships.
